Through conversations, exhibitions, screenings, demonstrations, awards and special events, IF brings together the people creating entertainment with the people creating the technology behind it -- from filmmakers, producers and studio executives to engineers, artists, entrepreneurs and emerging talent.

Technology has always transformed entertainment. Today, that relationship is moving faster than ever. AI, virtual production, gaming, sports tech, immersive media and new forms of production and distribution are changing not only how entertainment is made, but what entertainment can be.

Infinity Festival exists at that intersection.
Our Story
Founded in 2018, Infinity Festival began with a simple premise: the people shaping the future of entertainment and the people developing the technologies enabling it needed a place to come together.
​
The first festival was held in Beverly Hills and featured more than 200 speakers, 100 screenings, a Tech Lab, Student Lab, exhibitions and a fine art gallery. From the beginning, its programming explored emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and immersive media.Â
​
In 2019, the festival moved to Hollywood and became Infinity Festival Hollywood. Since then, IF has embraced Los Angeles as an essential part of the festival experience, choosing distinctive venues that have helped shape the city rather than traditional hotel ballrooms or convention centers. Past editions have taken place at the Academy Museum, Sony Pictures Imageworks’ new campus, Griffith Observatory, nya Studios and Amoeba Music, among others. IF has continued to evolve alongside the industries it serves, expanding its programming while bringing together an increasingly broad community of creators, technologists and industry leaders.
